If your camper loves to finger-paint, knead clay and get hands gooey, this is the camp to choose. Creative Arts campers will explore the visual arts through painting, drawing, and sculpting and will be placed in groups according to their age.
While campers manipulate modeling clay and twist wire into dinosaur sculptures, they’ll also develop perceptual abilities and motor skills, as well as a basic understanding of creative visual arts. They’ll learn printmaking and create their own stamps with their own unique patterns. They will study the color wheel, learn to weave, and make collages.
Art teachers will show your child how to complete projects each week in a variety of media.
Campers will also participate in a variety of traditional camp activities including indoor, outdoor, and special activities--plus daily instructional swimming lessons.
