Campers get all the fun and adventure of an sleep away camp, and parents have the security of knowing their campers are nearby. Campers will sleep in air-conditioned dorms with private bathrooms, Monday through Friday, and be home on the weekends.
Kampus Kampers develop a sense of independence, learn how to make new friends, meet new and exciting challenges, and become more responsible. At night they'll enjoy traditional camp activities, such as:
- Bonfires and making s'mores
- Pool parties and talent shows
- Large group games and beach barbecues
- Weekly field trips, arts and crafts
- Ice cream socials and campy sports
Campers stay in dorm rooms with 3 to 5 bunkmates and a carefully selected counselor. Counselors are over 19 years old.
Campers eat in the campus dining hall, located at the heart of campus in the Christine E. Lynn University Center.
The camp nurse’s office is located in the dorms where the campers sleep and is directed by a registered nurse.
